Bobbi Dunphy
An internationalist in the true sense of the word, Bobbi has spent the majority of her adult life living and working away from her beloved homeland of Australia. Her career, spanning more than 20 years, has led her to establish homes in such diverse places as Tokyo, Stockholm, New York, Barcelona and London. As producer and editor, variously in the arenas of multi-media, advertising, events and publishing, she has been privileged enough to work with internationally acclaimed film directors, photographers and writers. More recently, in her role as a Founding Member and Project Director of the Global Peace Index initiative (GPi), published by The Economist, and as Senior Vice President of TheCommunity.com, she has developed and managed high-level projects that have focused on the crucial area of Sustainable Development with a specific emphasis on the links between Peace, Human Rights and Sustainability. In this capacity, she has worked intimately with world leaders, Nobel Peace Laureates, renowned humanitarians, entrepreneurs and environmentalists, absorbing their wisdom and knowledge that in turn has provided her with the inspiration for her work. Bobbi has sat on the boards of a range of non-profits including The Wilderness Society, and is a founding board member of Good Company. She currently lives in Marin County, near San Francisco, where the stunning environment constantly inspires her to further appreciate and understand the necessity for a more innovative integration between man, technology and the planet.
